TEC Training Facility Gets High-Tech Upgrades

October 1, 2018

A transformation has been in the works at TEC’s Georgetown training facility over the past several months. The room, which is used for workshops, meetings and training events for co-op employees across TEC’s membership, now features state-of-the-art technology and furnishings to enhance training and meeting capabilities.

A nine-panel video wall allows for optimal viewing from any seat in the room, and streaming and recording capabilities create new opportunities for remote training, content sharing and collaboration. Skype for Business integration makes the room ideal for videoconferencing.

Nearby, a smaller conference room also has been updated. Both spaces are available for TEC member co-ops to reserve.

Attendees of the Staking Technician Training Seminar in October will be the first to fully experience the room’s new capabilities.
