TEC To Host Digital 80th Annual Meeting

June 24, 2020

On August 4 TEC members will have the opportunity to participate in the first on-demand annual meeting in the association’s history.

The online digital experience will still include the relevant industry programming, motivational messages and updates TEC members have come to expect—with the added convenience and peace of mind that on-demand availability affords. By digitizing this year’s presentations, the membership can safely view valuable content during board meetings, in small groups, during staff meetings or from the convenience of their home or office.

“In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been carefully weighing the potential health risks associated with bringing hundreds of people together from across the state for our 80th annual meeting,” said Mike Williams, TEC president and CEO. “With these concerns in mind, we recommended to the TEC board that it would be prudent to cancel the in-person event for this year, and they agreed. It was a difficult decision, but we believe the digital programing will be a worthy and safe alternative.”

All on-demand sessions for the 80th TEC Annual Meeting will be available through the TEC Annual Meeting website, tecannualmeeting.com, on August 4, in a password-protected area. There is no fee to participate in the meeting, but members must register to receive a password and to be entered in door prize drawings.

Registration is open to all co-op board members and employees and TEC Business Alliance Partners. Go to tecannualmeeting.com to register.
