TEC Forms Alliance With Ultimate Tool and Safety

TEC has announced an alliance with Ultimate Tool and Safety, a Fort Worth-based safety equipment and tool resource for linemen, construction workers, telecommunications workers, arborists, tower workers and ironworkers. The joint venture will enhance safety equipment availability for electric cooperatives in Texas.
TEC initiated this alliance between a cooperative and a private sector company, which serves to benefit both organizations’ commitments to worker safety. Ultimate Tool and Safety’s testing lab is accredited by North American Independent Laboratories, ensuring that all tools and equipment meet the highest standards of safety.
“TEC is constantly looking for ways to bring more value to our members,” said Johnny Andrews, TEC chief operating officer. “Partnering with a company that has extensive knowledge of lineman and pole-climbing tools and safety equipment helps us do that.”
