Safety & Training Programs
TEC supports our members by providing a staff of trainers that work at local cooperatives to help train their employees. This department also coordinates the NRECA Rural Electric Safety program and provides OSHA general industry training.
In addition to basic safety training the TEC Loss Control department provides courses such as:

Training and Degree Programs
Loss Control has state-of-the-art training fields and equipment that ensure the training process and techniques are meaningful and relevant to the work that lineman do every day in the field. We provide a written, structured training program as well as facilitate Certified Electric Powerlineman Associate and Certified Degree programs.
