TEC's Communications Department consists of seasoned professionals including editors, writers, proofreaders, designers and advertising experts. They produce Texas Co-op Power magazine, newsletters, news releases and advertising campaigns. We can also assist our members in any area of communications, including strategic planning and marketing, public relations, advertising, branding, marketing and member education.
Cooperative Communications

Government Relations monitors and reports on activities at the Legislature and regulatory agencies, in particular the Public Utility Commission, and coordinates necessary testimony and files comments on issues important to our members.
It is important to be an active participant in the political process. One way that cooperatives do that collectively is through Rural Friends/ACRE political action committee.

This event is a 12 day journey to Washington D.C. that has been sponsored annually since the mid 1960's. Every year almost 100 Texas teenagers travel to our nation's Capitol City to see our government in action and find out what our flag really stands for.
