Co-ops Comment on EPA Proposed Rule

Co-ops across the country called the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed rule affecting existing power plants “illegal, imprudent and impossible to implement” in the agency’s official comments forum.

There were more than 645,000 comments submitted by electric co-op advocates opposing the EPA docket. These comments combine for a total of more than 1.1 million opposing the EPA’s proposed rules for new and existing power plants.
